DAY 8
Today Veronique and I were going to visit her parents (who immigrated about 50 years ago to Switzerland). But before we went to theirs, we first went to the Höllgrotten caves in the rugged Lorze ravine at Baar. "Their fairytale-like rock formations, underground lakes and echanted caverns will cast a spell on young and old alike." We met up with her father outside of the caves, and when we were inside I didn't even need to read the descriptions linked to certain rock formations since Veronique's father told me all about it.
Later we drove to their home where we stayed until the late evening (I now know everything about his mineral collection).
Around 11:00 PM Veronique and I picked up the boys and went finally back home again.
DAY 9
Today was a rest day. In the end of the afternoon Veronique and I visited the family from friday again (day 7) to join a typical Kurdish supper.
