Day 7

Today we had to wake up really early, because we had to pick up Veronique's youngest son from La Punt, which was about an 2 hour drive. At least we drove through a beautiful environment and got the chance to take some nice pictures.
In the afternoon the boys had a golftournament for which they had to leave with a small tour bus (they wouldn't come back until the next day) and when Veronique and I had dropped them off, we went immediately after that to another Syrian family. As they were already very integrated, I was allowed to wear shorts (when we went to visit the other families I head to wear jeans due to their religion). We didn't visit for a monitoring, but more just to talk to them. I've learned a lot about their Kurdish culture, and I thought it was very interesting to hear the differences between how strict the people followed their religion per country (in Libanon some women just walk with shorts and without head scarf, in Syria it's more strict and in Irac the women can almost do nothing). In the evening we joined the family with dinner (which was delicious) and then went back home again.
