I've got a tour through the asylum accommodation and I was even allowed to take a look in one of the rooms of a family (due to privacy the chief wasn't allowed to let me take a look without the permission of the family). The room was quite cozy and they had a beautiful view out of the window.
The refugees live in a beautiful environment, but Veronique told me that (most of) the refugees don't go outside to sit calmly by the small river to enjoy nature, because it isn't really a part of their culture.
I've joined a lesson for a small amount of time, and te children (a total of 7) were surprisingly quiet. Their study material is a lower level than what they are supposed to get, since they either couldn't go to school in their own country, or the study material wasn't (that) good in their own country.
After that I visited the kindergarten where my hairs have been brushed, my nails have been "painted", etc.
Later in the afternoon Veronique and I went to the "Säntis" mountain, which had a wonderful view over tons of mountains (just take a look at the attached pictures).
