Today was my last day in Switzerland. In the morning Veronique and I went on a quick souvenir hunt in Sankt Gallen and around 3 o'clock we left Mörschwil to go to Airport Kloten in Zürich. My plane departed at 17:50 and I arrived around 19:10 in Düsseldorf where my parents and little brother were waiting for me.

I've really enjoyed this internship. I've learned a lot about the Syrian and Swiss culture and I am definitely going to visit Veronique again.
I've talked to quite a lot of people in English since Veronique (as I liked to say) practically knew about half Switzerland, and not all of them could talk in High German (plus for me is talking in German quite hard so I didn't mind talking in English at all).
This internship didn't only teach me a lot about the different cultures, but also about the life of (Syrian) refugees, and I'm thankful for the opportunity I've gotten.
